perfect base for strolling and visiting merano's highlights
staying here was a delightful experience as it provided a central hub for exploring the beautiful sights of Merano, just a few steps from the scenic St Barbara's Chapel and a short walk to the stunning Monumento all'Imperatrice Elisabetta, making urban exploration a breeze.

Family with children recommend it
The staff was friendly and went above and beyond, like when they surprised my sister-in-law with a birthday cake and champagne , couldn't believe it! The room had a beautiful terrace and even a garden, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the view after a long day.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what you get, I'd say it was acceptable.

complimentary bus tickets, prime location, river view request
The parking situation is subpar, requiring a trek across the river!!! Some areas of the hotel feel outdated, with balcony maintenance needing attention!!! The dining experience lacks enthusiasm during peak times!!!

Family with children hidden gem
Location right near the thermal baths was perfect & the staff went above and beyond for my sister-in-law's birthday surprise! They prepared a birthday cake and champagne, and I could feel the warmth of their hospitality.
It wasn’t exactly bargain-priced, but the experience was worthwhile!

An excellent location made evenings enjoyable, with the ability to walk to nearby attractions instead of relying on taxis. The breakfast offered an impressive variety, ensuring a satisfying start to each day. A vintage atmosphere throughout the hotel added to its charm, yet some room furnishings felt dated, while air conditioning provided comfort during the heat. However, a billing issue arose when cancellations led to unexpected charges, compounded by unhelpful service from staff, which was disappointing.

The rooms are really stylish and I loved that they offered a full body massage and a sun terrace to relax on. I only wish the pricing was a bit more reasonable, but it’s worth every penny for a nice getaway. Definitely request a higher-level room for a better view!
